Daniel Lantz, O.D.
Dr. Dan Lantz graduated from the Indiana University School of Optometry in 1983. Prior to graduation, he trained in ocular disease at the Visual Education Foundation (now OMNI), the nation's first optometric referral center in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1984, Dr. Lantz returned to Southwest Iowa, founding his clinic in Clarinda. In 1991, Midwest Eye Care, PC, an Omaha-based ophthalmology group, began using Dr. Lantz’s clinic for outreach services. In 1993, the current facility in Professional Plaza was designed and built specifically for eye care. The clinic became entirely electronic in 2012, providing state-of-the-art care to optimize the patient’s examination experience. Dr. Lantz looks forward to serving Clarinda and the surrounding communities for many years to come.
