Patrick Crowley, Bodyworker/Massage Therapist

EXPERIENCE
I bring over 30 years of experience to my therapeutic massage/bodywork practice and am fascinated by the new insights and techniques I am learning. The uniqueness of my work has to do with the education piece. I use visualization to engage my clients' nervous systems in the work. Clients understand what is happening and the work goes deeper. I have worked on many A-list celebrities and high-ranking leaders as well as people from all walks of life. I incorporate 3 decades of knowledge and experience in dance, yoga, expressive arts, and healing arts into my bodywork sessions.

TRAINING
My certification with Toshiko Phipps, who was the massage therapist for the Japanese Olympic team in the 1960's, at the Nippon Shiatsu Daigaku included Western and Eastern sports massage techniques, trigger points, Shiatsu, and vibrational work, all of which is very effective for a number of injuries. I have also studied Body-Mind Centering® with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Sara White, and others. In 1993, I was certified in Bodywork by the Nippon Shiatsu Daigaku and nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB). In addition, I have training in many emotional, coaching, and somatic therapeutic techniques including: Co-Counseling, Inner Bonding®, Generative Leadership, and more. Please see Biography.

BENEFITS
Integrative Bodywork facilitates structural and neuromuscular re-patterning, relaxation, and overall healing. I have effectively worked with a variety of conditions, in conjunction with a client's medical professionals. If you have a specific injury, chronic pain, or alignment challenge, I address your specific needs and health goals. This work nourishes the body. Injuries, low energy, imbalances, and uncenteredness are transformed. Body mechanics, exercise, functional movement, and alignment can be addressed.
