Pam Chin-Lai is one of my favorite people in the entire planet. When I first saw her, I was 16 and in denial about an eating disorder I'd had since I was 10 years old. She gently, but firmly guided me back towards the light. I learned so much from her about health, wellness and loving your body and what it can do for you. Her approach was never about losing or gaining weight- she only about being healthy and kind to your body.
I have long since moved away from Texas and 10 years on, continue to struggle with my eating disorder, but in times of strife, I hear Pam's optimism, kindness, wisdom and encouragement in my head and I'm able to get through those tough moments. She is still the most compassionate and intelligent health care professional I have ever worked with and I wholeheartedly recommend her to every single person (especially young women) struggling with any type of eating disorder or anyone who needs any type of guidance in nutrition (and life!).
Pam Chin-Lai is an exceptional Dietician with a heart for her patients wellness. Ms. Chin-Lai was instrumental in helping our daughter overcome her eating disorder. Frankly I believe that Pam is the one who saved our daughter's life by helping us see that out patient treatment was no longer an option and in patient treatment was necessary for her recovery. The ability to identify and recommend when a patient needs further care (and the ability to help the caregivers understand that need) is the sign of a true professional who puts their patient's health first. I would, without hesitation (and have) recommend Ms. Chin-Lai to anyone seeking the counseling and expertise of a registered Dietician in the Dallas Ft. Worth Area!
