I am usually very uncomfortable with male doctors because of past trauma, however Dr Blatner made me feel comfortable and confident right away. He gave me my options regarding my hand tendon repair as well as his opinion so I felt like I was a partner in my health care. He has a wonderful and caring bedside manner and more importantly, he does superior surgical work. The nurse at the hospital (not his office staff) raved about him and told me a personal story about her husband and how she pushed to have Dr Blatner do his repair. I would definitely recommend anyone who wants quality work to see Dr Michael Blatner. Oh, and he is out of network for my insurance and I choose to pay more to see him. I have to say that it is ALWAYS the patients responsibility to know their own insurance and all doctors have insurance they are not contracted with and in most offices the receptionist /front desk person may not have anything to do with insurance. This does NOT detract from the quality of the doctor's work. You should always call your insurance company yourself to verify your coverage.

I couldn't be happier with the job Dr. B has done. He has done a great job working with my schedule and making sure we selected the right method for fixing my hand injury. He has been great!
