Dr Franke is very attentive, if she is unsure of an issue with me, she has no hesitation looking for answers or referring a suitable doctor. As she is always open to learn more, she will keep patients in mind, sending articles or making a phone call. I know she ALWAYS has my back.

I recently saw this doctor back in January for a first time visit. I wanted to get a annual check up as well as see get established with a new doctor. I have insurance and paid my copay of $30. 3 months later I see a debit charge from my checking account in the amount of $80 from the office of Dr. Franke. I called about this and they stated that my insurance didn’t cover this visit and since I didn't pay my bill they decided to debit it from me. The only problem is that THEY NEVER SENT ME A bill. I tried to call dispute this however the was EXTREMELY rude, and kept over talking me, and talking down to me.I tried to call them to dispute them charging me without my permission, however Dr. Franke wouldn't budge, and stated I had already given me 3 months to pay. That is all fine and dandy, if I even knew the bill existed, which in this case I didn't. I also didn't give them permission to use my debit card. Any time I have a balance from a doctor, I always receive a bill. I did receive something from my insurance company a few months ago explaining my coverage, but it clearly stated "this is not a bill'. I then tried to call my insurance company asking why I had to pay for preventive/general check up visit because apparently my insurance covers this. I was told by the insurance agent, that Dr. Franke's visit didn't bill it as a "prevenative visit" and that was billed as "nothing"basically, which of course the insurance company won't cover. I tried to ask Dr. Franke's office to re-bill under preventative, annual check type of visit", but they wouldn't because on the initial forms I had to fill out, it asked “what is my reason for this visit” and I wrote down "to establish a new doctor" and because I didn't write down "check up or physical" they woudn't bill it as such. That is such BS, because during this visit she checked my blood pressure, heart rate, etc, she's supposed to be the professional, not me. How am I know supposed to know that what I write down is going to affect how something is billed?? You would think she would have common sense. Even my insurance agent, was in shock and awe of the audacity of this practice. Bottom line, I DO NOT recommend going to the doctor. If you dont' like receiving unexpected charges on your debit card, experiencing rude staff and also incompetence when it comes to billing and coding, then you need to seek services somewhere else.
I have NEVER wrote a bad review on someone or something, but this was by far the first experience ever, and I hope this review helps save future patients, time and money!!
