I have served as President of Delnor Hospital’s medical staff and on the Board of Director of Northwestern system’s West Region. Whenever I called with a question or concern, the staff made me feel stupid for calling. I avoided calling because I didn't want to feel stupid. They seemed stuck in the past. I was nervous about being exposed to archaic treatment methods. For a family doctor, they are rather cold and unfriendly. I would prefer it if they weren't so distant and impersonal. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. Just as a side note, this business is really conveniently located and is close to everything. It is right off and freeway and close to all kinds of shops. I was able to do my shopping for the week right after my appointment.

They seemed like they were extremely irritated to be at work, and that they couldn't wait for me to leave. They didn't seem to want to help anyone. They never greet you at the window, they just stare as if I'm bothering them. Doctor Bernhards attention is always on me and he has never take personal calls during my appointment.There referral coordinator is NOT helpful and refuses to answer the phone, you must leave a message and they never call back. It's ashame such a good doctor has TERRIBLE staff. They are RUDE and INCONSIDERATE!!! I've just waited over 10 days for a refferal they never called or sent it, I had to call my surgeon and then his office called them. I had to go and get the refferal that was dated 6 days ago. They need Customer Service training DESPERATELY!!!!!
