Had an extreme case of acne. I was on Medicaid at the time. Was trying to get a job and get it cleared up (the acne). Dr. Barkey told me, "Come back when you have a job ! I don't treat charity cases !" I am now out of college and have a 5 figure paying job. I will never forget he said that and often wonder if he has told others that as, well. Charity starts at home. No kindness in this guy's heart. He all about cold, hard cash.

I had my annual appointment with Dr, Barkey and was astounded and embarrassed during the 15 to 20 minute encounter. Along with the doctor in the exam room was a clerical employee ( a female non-medical type of individual) seated at a counter, an intern and myself. During this exam I felt more like a specimen than I did a patient. The doctor never asked me if it I was comfortable with these other individuals being present during my examination. During my exam the doctor asked me to take off my shirt so he could examine my chest and back and also asked me to face the wall where the non-clinical employee who was taking notes could see me, and had me drop my slacks to the floor while he examined my legs and genital area, I couldn't help but notice that his non-medical employee was looking at me during the exam as was the female intern, I believe that the doctor never considered my feelings nor acted in a truly professional manner with respect to this exam. I'm not sure if this behavior is subject to mal-practice but it must surely, at best, be unprofessional conduct,
