I had Dr Snodgrass perform a breast reduction (full anchor cut and nipple removal) in 2002 at age 22. I was pleased with the surgery, recovery, and new size of my chest then and throughout the years. More recently (in 2017 and 2019), I’ve been even more appreciative of her work. I’ve been able to breastfeed both of my children, something that many post breast reduction patients are unable to achieve. My first child only had to be supplemented with formula once per day. And my second child is exclusively breastfeeding. Dr Snodgrass obviously took great care to help leave some milk ducts in place and to reattach the nipples in such a way that nerve endings would regrow and develop. I’m grateful that I’ve had the last 17 years with a greater level of mobility (no more back pain, able to exercise, able to wear normal clothes) and these last two years feeding and bonding with my children.
