I would not recommend this dermatologist for a few reasons. I started taking my son to this office about 6 years ago due to a teenage acne problem. The doctor & the PAs there seemed knowledgeable and treated us with respect. However after recommending some good topical products and prescribing oral medications to ease the symptoms the doctor began recommending these expensive facial treatments that yielded no result, along with microdermabrasion. My son went several times for these glorified facials that were given by the "spa" portion of her office. I feel like she shouldn't have recommended these treatments to a patient who has cystic acne.... His problem was much deeper than the skin's surface. After spending lots of time & money at this office, I would hope for more answers to what causes the recurring problem, not just dealing with 1 cyst at a time as it erupts. I feel that the Dr was out of answers & treatments & instead of referring us to a doctor that could treat this condition, opted to have me dump money into her "spa". My son 6 years later still has the same skin problems and I am still looking for answers. I think if you see a specialist for a number of years they should be able to tell you something!
