They ignored my questions and my appointment seemed rushed. Their staff was not friendly at all, I didn't feel welcome there. I feel like my appointment was pointless. None of my questions were answered, nothing was accomplished, and I felt worse when I left. I found the office, but only because I had simple, very clear directions. I wish it had been easier to locate. If I couldn't find anyone better, I'd return again, but I'm hoping I can find better service somewhere else.
Surgery Nurse never returns my calls prior to surgery which is mandatory.
After I contacted the Office Manager, this nurse returned my call telling me its too late to set up April 12th for surgery (even though I've been trying to confirm that date for one month via phone calls & voice mail). She then told me "you need to get up $950.00 prior to the surgery for the special lens that is to be implanted. Your insurance
won't pay for it......." This was the first time I heard this astounding news.
The following day, I contacted the O.M. to confirm or refute what the nurse said.
The O.F. "took on" quite an attitude towards me. It was her attempt to put me down. I guess I'm the only patient who might be surprised by this news considering I've been
seeing this doctor for several months. No one ever told me this. This money is over and above what my co-pay would be.
As I soon learned, there was another "put-down" artist on board at the Center.
Happiness at one's job or home, begins with the Head of the enterprise. If that per-
son is a good leader; a good boss or husband/father; a happy person.... that will trickle
down throughout the vine until every fruit is nourished.
Therefore, I question the Director of this Eye Center? Not a happy person!
