My first appointment, by referral from a friend. I was impressed by the friendliness of the front desk staff. Dr. Sharf's nurse was kind, patient and really listened to what I had to say. When the DR. came in I was at ease and could concentrate on the questions I had in mind. Dr. Sharf also took the time to talk at length about something unrelated health wise. He was pleasant, and not rushed. I am confident in my decision to have my surgery at his office. I would recommend anyone to bring their questions and concerns to him.

You have got to be kidding me. Do not try and slander this surgeon, who, by the way is awesome! There are a few things you need to get through your ignorant little mind: 1. physicians are BUSY people, deal with it. 2. If she doesn't feel comfortable "disrobing" in front of a total stranger--then don't go see a plastic surgeon who obviously needs to evaluate her body. 3. Be realistic, your wife had a child, she gained weight, now she needs to lose it. I see way too many patients (by the way I'm a medical student who is currently doing a rotation in Plastic surgery) that have these crazy unrealistic expectations. At one point a patient asked "can't you just cut this off" while pointing to her massive arms....seriously?? It is way cheaper to buy your wife a gym membership and have her work out 3 times a week. If she has some excess fat and skin after that, then go see a plastic surgeon.

Remember: a surgeon's scalpel isn't a magic wand.

Sidenote: Dr. Sharf is a great surgeon who can really help you look your best, if you are the right candidate of course ;)
