This doctor seems extremely careless. I recently moved to Reno to Carson and took my infant child here because she was ill and I didn't want to make her sit in the car for two hours to see her normal pediatrician. HUGE MISTAKE. Everyone in the office was friendly and I didn't have any problems with Dr. Dankworth when I left. I even talked to them about switching my children to them full-time to avoid having to drive to Reno just for doctor visits. HOWEVER, after leaving his office I drove to the pharmacy to fill the prescription Dr. Dankworth wrote for my infant, and much to my surprise I was informed by the pharmacist that the prescription he wrote would cause respiratory failure and death in a child so young. The pharmacist then called Dr. Dankworths office back to let him know of the side effects of that prescription and to have him recommend something else. AND ONCE AGAIN, I was informed by the pharmacist that the second medication Dr. Dankworth prescribed would be fatal to my INFANT child. Needless to say, Dr. Dankworth was extremely careless and complete recklessness could have cost my child her life if the pharmacist had not caught the mistake. I understand that accidents happen and realize that doctors make mistakes, but when that mistake happens twice and can cost an infant child her life something is wrong. His carelessness is completely unacceptable and I would not recommend him to anyone. If you do find yourself going to him make sure you double check with your pharmacist to make sure that what you, OR YOUR CHILD, is prescribed is safe!!

This doctor is careless, reckless, and forgetfull, He is overall creepy and and has forgotten my daughter's shots. Recently a friend who also goes there was given a perscription for his 9 month old daughter that was fatal to infants. When they took the perscription to the pharmacy they were shocked that an educated doctor would give such leathal medicine to and infant. The pharmacist called the doctor and asked for a different perscription, and again he offered a leathal medication. They were outraged and so am I, although not all that suprised considering how bad the doctor has been with us. I am immediately taking my child away from his care and suggest you all do the same before he actually kills someone.
