Andrew is a Seattle based physical therapist who works with a wide variety of orthopedic patients with a special interest in sports-related injuries. He combines a variety of manual (hands-on) evaluation and treatment techniques with functional exercise to allow patients to return to active, healthy lifestyles. The son of educators, Andrew takes pride in teaching his patients how to manage their conditions. He also brings his experience as a clinical instructor for graduate students to Union Physical Therapy.
Andrew has been practicing physical therapy since graduating from Ithaca College in 2007. After obtaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy, he spent two years practicing in a sports medicine specialty clinic in Los Angeles, Ca. After moving to Seattle, Andrew gained valuable experience and mentorship in orthopedic manual physical therapy while working at Seattle’s Olympic Physical Therapy.
Sports and fitness have always been an integral part of Andrew’s life. As a child he was an avid distance runner, played lacrosse and wrestled. As an adult he competes as a cyclist in road and cyclocross races. He also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, snowboarding and climbing . He has also participated in triathlons, CrossFit, yoga and maintains close ties to these communities.
Andrew is excited to bring his experience and passion to Union Physical Therapy.
