I am a writer and transformative writing workshop facilitator. I lead creative writing workshops, some for survivors of sexual trauma, and I am a strong advocate for the transformative power of writing practice. The writing workshops I hold, which use the Amherst Writers and Artists workshop method, are geared toward moving what's stuck within us onto the page -- I work often with writers who are transforming individual experience—including trauma and/or struggles around sexuality—into art. I believe in the power and necessity of each one of us coming to recognize the artist/writer within ourselves.
