I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing for 20 years in Carlsbad. I specialize in mood disorders, relationship counseling, spirit-based counseling, and mindfulness. I also teach Sociology at Cal State San Marcos.

Interests: Sessions are 45 minutes long and I accept most insurances. I have a sliding fee scale for clients who do not have insurance. My goal is to empower clients to change unhealthy patterns in their lives in order to obtain a "peace presence". I believe clients have the answers to most problems within them. I see my job as helping to remove the blocks that keep them from experiencing joy and peace of mind. I also work with couples on communication issues, infidelity, sexuality, parenting, and financial hardship. Often couples need help in negotiating through breaches of trust or anger that has built up and keeps them from feeling love from, and toward, one another.
