Beth-Aime practices and teaches in the tradition of Ashtanga Yoga in the Mysore method as taught by
Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, founder of the Ashtanga Yoga Institute in Mysore, India.
The day after Beth-Aime’s first experience with yoga she dove head first into Living Yoga’s 200hr YA Teacher Training Program - feeling a sense of purpose, curiosity and belonging.
Since then, Beth-Aime made her first trip to Mysore, India in January and February 2010 and studied at the KPJAYI under the guidance of R. Sharath Jois, the grandson of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and Saraswathi Rangaswami the daughter of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and mother of Sharath. Beth-Aime made her second trip back to the KPJAYI shala this past January & February 2011 and plans to return to India annually to study and experience Ashtanga Yoga from it’s source.
Outside of the yoga studio, Beth-Aime owns a small landscaping company called “The Barefoot Gardener” and absolutely LOVES her job.
Beth-Aime has studied under the guidance of Maureen Miller, Beth Berkeley, Margaret Fletcher, and Tina Poirier and has been greatly influenced by Govinda Kai and Robert Moses. Beth-Aime received her Child Light Certification with Lisa Flynn in 2009 and studies Sanskrit chanting with Dr. M.A. Jayashree, Philosophy with Professor Narasimhan, and Sanskrit with Lakshmish Bhat of Mysore, India.
Beth-Aime makes her home in Merrimack County with her boyfriend Scott and her dog Kaya. She became the owner of Living Yoga Studio in April of 2010 from her beloved teacher and friend Maureen Miller, E-RYT and is excited to share all she continues to learn with the Concord, NH Yoga community.
