Interests: My Philosophy
My philosophy of chiropractic is based on the body being the creation of intelligent design. We were created as self healing beings with the body's goal being optimum health. There are 6 key components to optimum health. Diet, exercise, sleep/rest, genetic make-up, spiritual view or attitude, and a properly functioning nervous system to control and organize the body and the things we put into it. All of these components are important and deficiency in any one of them will cause imbalance leading to a loss of health potential or even dis-ease. The only one which is not directly under our control is genetic make- up and even this can be influenced in some circumstances. For example, with a genetic history of early heart disease your likelihood of having heart disease at an early age is high but if you are disciplined in your diet, exercise and keeping the nerve flow open to the heart you can support a genetically weak heart and prolong your life and improve the quality of your health. It comes down to the choices a person makes. This is why I focus so much on Prevention! Being proactive and preventing serious health problems, when possible, is the smartest way to live your life. Regular Chiropractic evaluation and treatment is one of the smart, healthy choices you can make for yourself and your family.
