Craig Amrine

I am a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Arizona (L.Ac.) and have received my Masters of Science degree in acupuncture from the accredited Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA) in Phoenix, Arizona. I am also a nationally board certified Diplomate in Acupuncture with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

I am also a leading authority on cold-laser therapy in the Phoenix area. Along with using the Apollo Laser, one of the most powerful cold-laser units available, I have also usedmy extensive laser and engineering background to design and build my own cold-laser units.

Along with my central clinic in Tempe, I have also established acupuncture clinics both in Scottsdale at The Lion’s Den, the premier Mixed-Martial-Arts training center of Phoenix, as well as at Skydive Arizona in Eloy, the largest skydive facility in the world. As a result, I have successfully treated some of the most diverse and world renowned athletes for a wide variety of injuries and health problems.

Prior to my career in Traditional Chinese Medicine, my academic background includes a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Alfred University at Alfred, NY in 1991. My engineering career has included research and development in fields of glass composition and property modeling, field-emission display development, and a revolutionary embedded chip technology for semi-conductor packaging applications. I currently hold 18 patents within these fields and have several additional patents pending. My passion for science and research is now directed, however, to the latest studies and research within Acupuncture and Low-Level Laser Therapy.

I also has over 24 years as a martial-artist; both teaching and training in several forms of Japanese and Brazilian martial-arts. I also has over 12 years teaching and training in Ashtanga and Power Yoga. The experience gained in these studies led to the pursuit as a healer within the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). My vast background as a scientist, professional athlete, teacher, and healer has given me a unique perspective on health, fitness, nutrition, and Eastern philosophy, and I utilizes this experience towards my style of treatments for my patients.
