Richard Bloom began working in the helping professions 35 years ago as a drug and alcohol counselor, earned his master’s degree in 1982 with a thesis on marital counseling, has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 1984, has taught at Sonoma State University and California State University, Hayward, and is an associate of the Men’s Center for Counseling and Psychotherapy. In recent years he has gained a reputation working with depression and anxiety. I have practices in Santa Rosa and Berkeley.
