I have often been asked as to the reason why I chose to be a Chiropractor. It all started with a part-time job as a receptionist in a chiropractic office while completing my undergraduate studies. Not only was I an employee, I also became a patient. I had developed chronic neck pain from a car accident a few years prior. Soon after beginning care my neck pain was a distant memory, and my path to chiropractic began. After receiving my Bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University, I went on to Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, California. I have also obtained the distinction of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). I am currently pursuing certification in Functional Diagnostic Medicine. Functional medicine is personalized medicine that deals with primary prevention and underlying causes instead of symptoms for serious chronic disease.Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating diagnosis, signs and symptoms, and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s environmental inputs and his or her physiological function.
Hometown: Orland Park, IL United States
Occupation: Chiropractor
Interests: I am dedicated to forming long-term relationships with my patients. I believe the chiropractic office should offer a relaxing environment where a patient can get away from the stresses of daily living and be treated in an atmosphere of relaxation and genuine care. It is very important to me that all patients feel comfortable and confident in my office.
