Sometimes words are not enough. Depression, anxiety, and difficulties dealing with losses and transitions can be overwhelming. Working therapeutically through the creative arts, you gain awareness of your strengths, and gain enjoyable coping skills to deal with stress and emotional pain. This work is also a powerful means to externalize, witness, consider and interact with parts of yourself that you don't usually have access to, but are often at the root of emotional distress.
I have practiced since 1996 as a Creative Arts Psychotherapist in hospitals, clinics, and privately. Now in private practice exclusively, most of my work is with adolescents and adults. My extensive training in many modalities, including EMDR allows me to blend techniques and procedures from many disciplines to best meet your unique needs.
This work is sensitive, respectful, empowering, and has the power to transform distress into creative vitality.
