Diana Broomfield, M.D., MBA, FACOG, FACS
Dr. Diana Broomfield is a prominent leader in reproductive health and the founder and Medical Director of Maryland IVF…a Fertility Health & Wellness Center.   She also has a strong background in military health care and served as a former leader (Lt. Colonel) as well as an academician and private practitioner. Dr. Broomfield completed her residency at Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Broomfield then completed a fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Division of Human Reproduction. She also earned an MBA degree from the John’s Hopkins University, Carey Business School.

Dr. Broomfield has been involved with research and education of physicians for more than sixteen years, with extensive experience with research design and analysis. As Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility, Vice-Chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Howard University and the Residency Program Director she is responsible to train physicians which includes research design, development and analysis. Dr. Broomfield has written numerous articles on reproductive health care, women’s health, organizational development, and implementation of the electronic medical record.

Dr. Broomfield is also the founder and CEO of Fertility Today magazine. Fertility Today focuses on reproductive health care, consumer education, and reproductive research. She also is the founder and CEO for a non-profit organization, the Cancer Institute for Fertility Preservation (CIFFP). This organization is dedicated to educating and providing service to medical providers, patients and families of patients and the general public about reproductive health in the midst of cancer or cancer treatments. Dr. Broomfield is bilingual (Spanish) and holds three American Board Certifications in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility and Urgent Care Medicine.
