Hi, We are Kirby and Colene Whitehead, pastors of New Light Harvest Chapel of Perry, GA. Are you sick and tired of waking up in the mornings feeling like you missed a full nights sleep or maybe you woke up hurting all over, feeling worse than you did when you went to bed? The reflection of that fourty plus person who is casting that image in your mirror just doesn’t reflect your inner man...or woman any longer? Does your doctor tell you that you have high cholestrol, blood sugar or maybe he has even warned you of stroke or impending heart attack if you don’t LOSE WEIGHT before it’s too late? Well, this is some of the reasons why Colene and I started blogging Journey to Health and Wellness in 2008 to help other men and women deal with the sometimes overwhelming prospect of starting a healthy exercise and diet program while still struggling with day to day pressures and paying the toll that jet set living in our fast paced society has imposed on us for years. Our own personal experiences have made us aware of how many in today’s society are facing this same dilemma. As we, the baby boomer generation, enters our “middle age,” years, we want to offer our friendship and support to those of you who like us are facing these same trials and health decisions.
