Richard’s goal is to provide the best healthcare services and options for his patients. He recently completed his doctoral training in Oriental Medicine (O.M.D.) at South Baylo University. He is a Diplomate of the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics (DNBAO), a board specialty within this field of medicine. He completed his Masters degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (MTCM) at Five Branches Institute and became licensed by the state of California as a Licensed Acupuncturist in 2002. His specialty is in pain management and treating disorders affecting the musculoskeletal system (ie: neck and back pain, shoulder, wrist and elbow disorders). He treats many systemic and metabolic disorders affecting the whole body, including chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and various inflammatory disorders as well as internal disorders affecting the nervous system, gastrointestinal tract, respiratory system and immune system. He is trained in traditional Chinese herbal medicine but also incorporates functional blood chemistry analysis and laboratory assessments in order to gain better insight into the patient’s current health state.
