I provide continuing and integrated mental and behavioral health care for individuals and families; consultation to agencies and communities; training, education and supervision; and research-based practices. It is a specialty in breadth — one that is broadly inclusive of severe disturbances, as well as more moderate forms of mental health dysfunction. My practice is marked by its comprehensiveness and integration of knowledge and skill from a broad array of disciplines within and outside of psychology proper. Its scope includes adolescents as well as older adults and encompasses diverse populations and varied treatment systems. I ascribe to a biopsychosocialspiritual approach. My specialties include mood disorders, relationship issues, and life transitions.
I believe the most critical factor in healing is to meet the clients where they are, with whatever theoretical approach seems appropriate given their personal or unique situation. I am a strong adherent of the Rogerian model of unconditional personal regard for my clients at all times.
