I have been practicing as a Licensed Dietitian since 2001. My background includes long term care, assisted living/ geriatric care, community health/ women and infants clinical care, and outpatient care for all ages. My experience includes treating a wide variety of medical diagnoses. I enjoy working on specialized nutrition planning for those with diabetes, renal disease, cancer, inflammatory disease processes, esophageal, gastric, and bowel diseases, dysphagia, tube feeding needs, and many, many others.
In addition, I am a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern in the state of Florida. I completed my Master's Degree in 2016. My specialization and focus is in treating disordered eating practices. My aim is to include mental health aspects into all nutrition counseling and otherwise as it is critical to address each individual from an integrative perspective.
The mind and the body are one, and treatment planning must address all aspects of a person's well-being.
