Jeffrey James

The Cleft and Facial Cosmetic Surgery Center is devoted to providing the best and most current surgical treatment for cleft lip and cosmetic patients.

Dr. Jeffrey James was born and raised in west Texas. He attended Texas A&M University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics. Dr. James attended Louisiana State University School of Medicine where he earned an M.D. and also completed an internship in General Surgery. He earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Dental Branch while he concurrently worked towards a Masters in Physics at the University of Houston. Dr. James completed a 6 year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University during which he served as Academic Chief his 5th year and Chief Resident his last year. He had the privilege of serving on several academic committees including the Search Committee for the Department Head and Chairman of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Louisiana State University.
