Federico Grande, DDS, MD, grew up in south Florida. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Miami with a bachelor in science. He then attended Northwestern University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois. After obtaining his dental degree, he was accepted in a 6-year double degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program at the University of Miami / Jackson Memorial Hospital. Dr. Grande earned his medical degree at the University of Miami. He completed 4 years of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training, serving as chief resident his last year, followed by a 1 year fellowship in anesthesiology.
Dr. Grande is board-certified and has hospital privileges at West Palm Hospital and Jupiter Medical Center, where he takes facial trauma call. He practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on dentoalveolar and dental implant surgery.
Dr. Grande hosts an implant study club and instructive seminars that inform area dentists, specialists and their teams on the latest advances in dental implant technology and surgery. Dr. Grande has lectured on topics including immediate-load full arch dental implant reconstruction cases with and without the use of CT guided technology, anesthesia in the dental / oral surgery office and bisphosphonate induced osteonecrosis of the jaws.
Dr. Grande maintains active dental and medical licenses in the state of Florida. Dr. Grande is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of the Southeast Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the Florida Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association.
