A Board Certified psychiatrist with over 31 years of experience, Dr. Cruz uses an eclectic approach in therapy. He received an MD from University of Miami, completed residency at Maine Medical Center, and has a Masters from Western Carolina University. He has expertise in diagnostic assessment and he is interested in the interface between spirituality and psychotherapy. In 2008 he co-founded the Asheville Jung Center. He is fluent in Spanish.
