Lana Safaei

Dr. Safaei is a specialist in Internal Medicine with more than 10 years of experience working in clinical settings. Prior to joining Coast Internal Medicine Consultants, she worked for Southern California Kaiser Permanente. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed Internal Medicine Internship at the New York Medical College and Residency at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California, an affiliate program of Stanford University. Additionally, she has completed training in Clinical Homeopathy.

Dr. Safaei believes in practicing medicine as a collaborative relationship between a patient and their physician. “I educate my patients and provide them with resources, support and invite them to become active participants in their own health goals.” She is passionate about what she does and her philosophy is “treat everyone like family, as we are all fruits of one tree”.

Dr. Safaei is very proud to be part of Coast Internal Medicine Consultants and is excited to provide the highest quality of care to her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys practicing Yoga, traveling and learning about new cultures, reading and spending time in nature with her family.
