I received my PhD in Educational Psychology and Counseling at the University of Mississippi and my undergraduate degree was in Psychology and Sociology.
I completed an internship in Arkansas and became licensed in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am also a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Counselor Supervisor in Alabama.

Interests: I am a person of varied interests and much curiosity about many things. My interests include history and archeology, dreamwork, travel, painting, crafts, poetry and creative writing, all forms of spirituality, mythology,animal well being and protection and. environmental conservation. I really enjoy music and listen to everything from classical to jazz to bluegrass. I am making some progress in learning to play the mountain dulcimer I.have been married for 37 years, and we have two adult daughters, two dogs, and a cat.
Some of my professional interests include dreamwork Jungian psychology womens' issues,all stages of life transition,psychology of religion and spirituality, art therapy,short term crisis intervention, mindfulness meditation and grief counseling. My practice is also LGBT friendly.
