At Spine Associates, our practice is based on the principle of conservatism. We will try to exhaust all reasonable forms of conservative care for our patients before consideration of surgical intervention. This is only logical, as we recognize that the peer- reviewed literature supports the fact that the majority of simple spinal conditions will respond positively in this way, with only a small proportion requiring surgery.
