Harry Shapiro

As a renowned endocrinologist with a specialty in metabolism, Dr. Harry Shapiro is proud to serve Brooklyn. With over thirty years of experience as a practicing physician, Dr. Shapiro works to give each patient a thorough and efficient visit. His office delivers a number of convenient and specialized services for patients, including an in-house blood testing lab for faster results, x-ray screening, and bone density tests.

After attending the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University, Dr. Shapiro completed residencies in internal medicine at both the Metropolitan Hospital Center and Beth Israel Medical Center. He belongs to a number of professional associations, including the American Association of Diabetes Educators and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. Dr. Shapiro is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.

In his spare time, Dr. Shapiro loves to play tennis and practice his golf game. He also loves to travel, and does it as much as he can. Dr. Shapiro is fluent in four languages, including Hebrew, Russian, and Yiddish.
