Dr. Hetland has been an educator in the advancement of patient-focused, lifetime chiropractic care and has dedicated his career to advocating the life changing impact that having a healthy spine can have on a persons life especially our children.

A graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University, Dr. Hetland has the distinction of being in the Guide to Americas Top Chiropractors. He also was one of the youngest doctors nationwide to complete the intensive and demanding post-graduate continuum in chiropractic at NWHSU. Following graduation, he worked in private practice in Burnsville, MN, serving the needs of a growing number of Twin Cities families.

As founder of the River Heights Clinic of Chiropractic, Dr. Hetland has relocated his private practice into Inver Grove Heights, MN and has made it his chief aim to educate the children in the area about how spinal hygiene effects your overall health.

Dr. Hetland continues to pursue advanced training in the chiropractic profession and is passionate about mastering the most progressive and effective techniques available to general, prenatal and pediatric chiropractotr. He has completed hundreds of hours in the Post Graduate Gonstead Continuum at the Gonstead Methodology Institute, the advanced Fibromyalgia Centers of America, a national, multi-discipline corporation in Chattanooga, Tennessee, as well as the respected International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in Pennsylvania. Dr. Hetland is also committed to the development of his team and invests in many hours of continuing training on their behalf.

Dr. Hetland contributes his time and resources in support of several global health organizations. In 2007, he started supporting Tee It Up For the Troops founded by a close friend and his father created in 2005 to help support the fallen and disabled members of our Armed Forces, and their families. River Heights Clinic also supports the YMCA through charitable donations, and serving on the board.

Dr. Hetland grew up in Savage, MN, participated in a number of different sports including hockey, baseball, gymnastics, tennis and golf. His wife Natalie, and newborn daughter Audrey are very active in the church which brings great joy into their lives.
