They always take that extra step to make me feel special. I always enjoy my appointments here. They told me a bunch of simple lifestyle changes I could make that would reduce and prevent my inflammation. Their primary concern is what's best for me, and they only give me the advice that would benefit me the most. I felt very safe in their care. I definitely trust them. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan.

They always return my phone calls quickly. I always know that I'll get a prompt answer to my question. They were able to provide me everything they promised me. I've never doubted their abilities. The staff was very helpful no matter how many times I called with a question or concern. They never made me feel uncomfortable for asking any question.

My RA began in '95 & by '98 I knew I had to see a specialist. I found Dr. Boyd by chance in Yellow Pages. I have been seeing him since '98 and he has made my life much more enjoyable. He keeps constant checks on my status, blood work, etc. His staff is knowledgeable & courteous and fast. Calls are returned promptly. I lived about 40 miles from Columbia when I first became a patient, & didn't mind the drive in the least. I retired in '02 and moved to Lancaster, SC & I travel about 70 miles to see him, with no complaints. I could find aRheumatologist much closer, however I have complete trust in Arthritis Consultants. I can't imagine how my life would have been had I not found Dr. Boyd.
