Dr. Milles is a very empathic person who has helped me a great deal to recognize and know how to treat my specific issues. I love that he is not a "cookie cutter" doctor who is predictable and just prescribes pharmaceuticals; but, he seeks to understand and to help me understand what is going on. He is perceptive,and thoughtful. I have evolved into a more thoughtful and healthy person through my many years of care.

I have been seeing Dr. Milles for over 4 years. In the course of our discussion regarding my initial physical exam, I told him that I was being treated for adult onset asthma. He asked me to describe my symptoms, and when I had done so, he immediately sent me for a stress test, followed by an angiogram. It turned out that 3 of my 4 main coronary arteries were 98% blocked. This led to triple by-pass surgery. His alertness and attention to detail resulted in saving my life. He is always there for me when I need to see him, and he has made me a collaborator in the diagnosis and treatment of my age-related and other medical issues.

Dr. Milles is one of the best doctors I have ever known. I have known him since 1993. His professionalisms, dedication, knowledge and caring for his patients are superior to any other doctor.
I am blessed to be in very good health. Three years ago I had a horrible itching problem for a year. I was working and I would have to hide in a closet for sometimes up to three hours itching. It was horrible. It was Dr. Milles who never gave up and finally found a medication that still works today. He also gave me the moral support I needed.
He is wonderful and a blessing and God sent.

For over two years, I have been taken to the Emergency Room of three hospitals (one in Illinois) 7 or 8 times for dangerously low OR high blood pressure (e.g., 63/37, 250/160). I have gone to several doctors and the BP still vacillated. On my second visit to Dr. MIlles, he had checked my records and found that my calcium level and my parathyroid levels were both high. He told me this can cause BP to elevate. I started cutting my calcium tablets in half and have had no problem with BP since February (5 months). He now has taken me completely off the calcium, and is now working on two other problems that have become of concern. FIVE STARS FOR DR. MILLES!!

I am so glad for Dr. Steven Schimpff for recommending that I see Dr. MIlles. They both have played an important role in my health life! Thank you to both of you!
