I was very happy with the care at Kindred Ocala and so was my family. I was able get get off the breathing machine, get stronger to start walking and bathe myself, and I just ate my first meal in a long time. The nurses are great and addressed my pain anytime I asked. I would not be doing as good as I am if it were not for this place. Thank you y'all! John L.

Everything has been great here. My journey has not been short. I have been to multiple facilities in different cities throughout Florida. I'm happy to say that coming here was the turning point. I'll be going home soon! Judy T.

I am doing well here at this hospital and thank God I am because I have been everywhere it seems over the last couple months. I am from down South Florida, but I ended up in Tampa because of my heart doctor. I was there fore a while, but I just seemed to have a lot of trouble making progress they tell me. Know I am here at Kindred in Ocala and I am doing well. I have been here a week and I have made progress with my eating. I no longer have a feeding tube and can eat real food! I am also getting stronger and working on walking and taking care of myself. I am looking forward to going home in a few weeks and starting to work around the yard and garden again because that is what I love to do. I thank these nurses, doctors and therapists for all they do. Judy

I have made a lot of medical improvements since being here at Kindred. I am no longer on the "ventilator" and I do not even need oxygen. I am getting stronger and today I even got into my own wheelchair and went outside. My therapy friend, Katie, is very strong and helps me believe in myself. I am blessed to have been sent here.

I have been here a couple times and both times the people are nice and the services are exactly what I need, wound care. Last time they helped me get back to where k could go home and I know they will do the same this time! Thanks! R. G.

So far everything is great here! The therapy team gives me great work outs and I believe that helps me sleep better at night. I am getting wound care and antibiotics and everyone is nice and helpful. I feel very comfortable in this place.

I have only been here about a week, but I am happy with this place. My wounds are healing, I'm feeling stronger, and the doctors explain to me what they are doing. The staff work hard to care for me and they respect my wishes, which is nice. They even do not mind that my son comes to visit in the middle of the night sometimes. I am pleased here.

I am very happy with the care that my husband has received here at kindred in Ocala. My husband had some heart issues over the past few months months and while other places tried to care for him they could never get him better. So my husband came back to the hospital and we tried this place, kindred Ocala. The people are nice and you can tell they care about my husband and me. The care is very good from all the nurses and therapists. Best of all, I know my husband is safe. I know my husband is on the road to getting better and coming home. Thank you for your help so far. I have been very pleased with the care that my husband has received here at kindred in Ocala. My husband had a fall some months back while in the hospital and the other hospital tried to send him to Avante too soon, but he did not do well. So my husband came back to the hospital and we tried this place, kindred Ocala. The people are great and have wonderful attitudes. The care is very good from all the nurses and therapists. Best of all, I know my husband is safe. I know my husband is on the road to getting better and coming home. Thank you for your help and caring hearts.

I have had a great stay here at Kindred in Ocala so far. I came here the first time about 3 weeks ago and I had an issue with my feeding tube. They had to send me back to my other hospital to get this fixed, but then I came back. I have been back for about 2 weeks and I have been doing great. I am weaned from the vent. I have been graduating from things everyday and now the nurses have pulled my drainage tubes, the respiratory therapist has capped my trach and now I have oxygen through a little tube in my nose.

Rehab has worked hard with me since being brought to Kindred in Ocala. My strength has increased and I am progressing with my standing and ability to take steps. I am so determined to be home by Christmas!

Everybody is wonderful here. I really cannot complain because I have been so sick and been through so much that I am just blessed that this place is here.
