I enjoyed my time and experience with Sono Bello. Everyone was so friendly and assisted me all the way. The adviser and doctor was amazing. They guided me through the process. It was painless. I was expecting more of a discomfort and I am not feeling any pain the day after surgery. I would recommend them to anyone who has some fat they need to get rid of. Thank you Sono Bello Portland. You ROCK!

I've had many procedures over the years and this was by far the best. The doctor (Saxon) was a true professional with a wonderful bedside manner. Sadly, that is very rare these days. The whole staff from the consult to the post op apts. have been outstanding and very personable. I would consider this the "Nordstrom" of the cosmetic procedure world. This office seems to understand what the concept of "true customer service" is and how it applies to everything in life. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone who asks.

I came to Sonobello looking to slim down my hip and thigh areas. This seemed almost impossible to do, as I’ve gotten older. After the procedure, my results were immediately noticeable. I couldn’t be more pleased! I’ve since started walking, slowing moving into a regular workout routine. Can’t wait until I’m fully recovered and wearing summer shorts and dresses. A huge thank you to Dr. Malin and the staff at Sonobello!!!

I cannot say enough good things about my Sono Bello experience. I will walk you through my experience and share my journey with you. My first experience when I walked in the door was with the receptionist Tonya, who is very sweet and pleasant (she has been this way every time I have been in since then). Then I met with the consultant: Shab, she was very friendly, super outgoing and very positive. She was honest and explained all of the options that were available to me to be able to get what I wanted done. I originally talked about doing just my lower half (thighs + banana roll + hips) she gave me a quote for that will every line detailed out. I got home and thought more about it and decided, I wanted to do my arms instead of the banana roll and emailed Shab, she promptly returned my email with an update quote. I said I needed to think it over. As few weeks went by and I emailed her and said let's go for it, when is the soonest I can get in (thinking it would be a few weeks). To my surprise, she got back to me with a pre-op appointment that week (in 2 days) and surgery the day after that. I was thrilled. I arrived for my pre-op appointment and was met by Sarah, she was very nice and walked me through everything. Then Dr. Saxon came in and step by step through the procedure, what he would do, how he would do it and wanted to make sure any and all of my questions were answered. I felt very comfortable and at ease with him. The next day I arrived for my surgery appointment and was met by Cherie, she is AWESOME! She was so nice and comforting, she made me feel very at ease and good about my decision, she was uplifting and encouraging and really cared about me, my results and my comfort. Dr. Saxon came in to check on me and go through everything again and make his marks on my body, the entire time Dr. Saxon and Cherie just kept saying really assuring things that made me feel really comfortable. They gave me my medication and left me to rest. Cherie was in the surgery room preparing everything; she asked what type of music I would like to listen to during my procedure (I thought, what? This is different, how cool!) I told her artists I liked and she quickly created a Pandora station just for me. The medication has made me a bit nauseous and just then Cherie inquired again about how I was doing. I let her know I felt nauseous and she quickly came over and held a smelling stick under my nose and relived my nausea. Then it was time, Dr. Saxon and Cherie got me all set up. They talked to me through the entire surgery and at one point I began singing along with the Christmas carols on the radio, we all laughed and had a great time, I was in no hurry to leave, I was very comfortable and it was like hanging out with friends at a cool coffee shop. Once the surgery was complete they made sure I was ok and delivered me to my family member. That evening I was feeling ok, I took some pain medication and went on to bed. The next morning I had a voicemail from Dr. Saxon who has called to check on me and see how I was doing. that night (day after surgery) I needed to shower because my incisions had leaked quite excessively (all over my favorite sweat pants, so I do NOT recommend wearing anything you like after the surgery, which Sono Bello had said, but I didn't pay attention and that's what happens) and there was blood on my shape wear. So I decided to enlist the help of my husband to get a shower. That was rough! It hurt to move and to take off the shape wear, then I felt like I was going to pass out, standing in the shower the water felt fine on my skin but I couldn't imagine rubbing my body with soap. I did manage to tough it out and do, because it needed to be done. When I got out of the shower and dabbed dry my husband was going to help me put my shape wear back on, that was also rough, it was painful and every move seemed to bring on another sharp painful sensation. At last we did get them on with bandages in all the right places, I just remember thinking I don't want to shower again for a long time. That however, was not going to happen, I had already began to seep through my bandages and shape wear again by that evening. Bandage changes, shape wear removal and redressing, as well as showering all became easier within a week - 2 weeks’ time. At my first appointment and surgery day, Shab and Cherie has both mentioned being able to begin getting back in the swing of things within 3 days of surgery, I wasn't one of those people. I am a very specific, light sleeper, so the discomfort of my thighs made it so I could only attempt to sleep on my back (which was not going to happen) therefore I got no sleep, I wasn't really in pain and therefore didn't want to take the pain medication, so I went about 4-5 days with little to no sleep which made my recovery process slower and my tolerance for discomfort higher. Once I figured out how to maneuver myself so I could sleep I began to feel much better. At my post-op appointment Kim was very nice, she checked me over, asked how I was doing and gave some additional recommendations. She checked each of my incisions to make sure they were healing well and they were all good. She also ordered my second phase shape wear which was delivered to my house within about a week. Within 1.5 weeks I was back to full ability, I did need to be careful with bumping people, things, etc. because my surgical areas were definitely tender. Eventually the tenderness subsided and I felt pretty good, the arms took longer than the legs did, at 6 weeks my arms were still a bit tender if bumped or grabbed. One of the aspects of Sono Bello I REALLY appreciated (in addition to everything mentioned above) are the constant emails, not solicitation emails or other junk mail, but very specific step-by-step guidance along your recovery journey. Just as I might get a question in my head about when should I do this or that, an email would appear in my inbox that would answer every question. I really like this and have enjoyed every email. The staffs are friendly and very willing to help in any way. If you are contemplating a procedure you should definitely go to Sono Bello Portland, you won't be disappointed. They will take care of you! Dr. Saxon = 10 stars, Operating Nurse Cherie = 10 stars, overall experience = EXCELLENT! Would I recommend = Absolutely!

I can not express how excited I am with my results. Just one week out, I could tell that stomach was smaller and my knees didn't knock as I walked!! Now that I am about 3 months out from surgery, I can't believe how small my stomach is compared to what I looked like in March. The staff at Sono Bello are so wonderful and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. I didn't feel judge or ridiculed for my size. As a matter of fact, the team & Dr Saxon showed compassion and a vested interest in my well being. I felt truly cared for and that the whole team was on board to help me achieve my goals. For years I have been trying to get rid of my belly fat but was unsuccessful until now. My procedure was a gift to help jump start my journey to health and fitness in my life. I am feeling so much better now. I am having less issues with bladder control and I am feeling less and less back pain. As a matter of fact, I am walking about every day and this past weekend I walked 19.5 miles in a 24 hour period during a Relay For Life event! I also have been seeing a nutritionist to get me on the track with good healthy eating habits to sustain my results. I am very, very excited to see how my results will be even further down the road. My only draw back is why didn't I do this sooner? Before my procedure, I felt like having surgery was cheating. On the contrary, the procedure has given me an opportunity to leap into a better healthier life style. I am working everyday exercising, eating right, and trying to understand what triggers my food cravings. I have wasted so much time worrying about what others would think of me for having surgery. My position has changed and I look at my procedure as a tool that jump started my journey. With my new perspective, I am happy to support and encourage anyone thinking about having a procedure to just do it! It will change your life for the better.

On June 2nd I went in for my procedure and today is June 13th. Within the last two weeks I have been up to see amazing results. I had a little bruising and discomfort after my procedure. The procedure went smoothly. There was very little discomfort. I can barely feel what was going on. The doctor was friendly and welcoming. They give me realistic expectations and made sure that I truly understood what was going to take place. I must say I was a little nervous in the beginning. Within the last 2 weeks, I have seen my body change drastically. I must say that I feel like this was one of the best decisions I've made when it comes to my body. I'm still in the healing process but my body seems to be healing very fast and seeing my new shape reveal itself is very encouraging. I am getting back my confidence. I would say to anyone out there who is considering doing a lipo procedure or body contouring procedure sonobello is the the best decision you could ever make. My downtime was only a couple of days I have returned to the gym and all of my regular activity. I was able to get up and walk around my house the same day without help which was mind-boggling. To sum up everything, I must say that the staff was friendly welcoming and very understanding the financing and payment options are amazing making this affordable to almost anyone. I've been telling all my friends about it and how refreshing my experience was. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking into body contouring it and thinks that it is going to be expensive. It is not expensive at all and the results that I am seeing at week 2 are amazing. I'm looking forward to the next couple of months as my new body continue to reveal itself.

I was apprehensive about any serious surgical procedures that I knew nothing about. When I came across Sonobello as an option, I was intrigued by the offer for a complimentary consultation-I could ask all the questions I wanted before actually starting the procedure. When I arrived at Sonobello in Portland, immediately I noticed how friendly and attentive the front office was. I hardly waited before being taken back. While speaking to the coordinator about my expectations for the procedure, she had me feeling at ease and gave me hope that I could really receive the body I always wanted! After years of exercise, even at my young age, I could not get rid of stubborn lower body fat! There was no fluff or promises, just honest explanations for what to expect during the procedure and worst and best case scenario. After finding the Dr. for my procedure at Sonobello, I was ecstatic! The day of the procedure I was treated by such a respectful, sweet nurse that attended to all my needs and made me feel really comfortable. During the procedure both the nurse and the Dr. we're there to care for me. Dr. Malin is absolutely the most wonderful, considerate Dr. I have ever met. He listened to all my concerns and really took the time to understand my personal situation. During the procedure, he treated me very well and after already 1 week I feel a difference! I will never regret my decision to have my procedure with Dr. Malin and Sonobello, they changed my life for the better!

I came to sono bello, for my health. I was at 38% BMI. I knew I had to make the choice for myself, if I wanted a full life or to be a victim of my own health. I actually teared up talking to shab and DR Saxon. This is MY body, MY health, MY life!!! I need to get back into control. I knew this wasn't a "quick" fix, but it was MY new beginning. I was seen as a beautiful person stuck inside a "fat" body, a healthier version of "ME" SCREAMING to come out. Eye contact, truly hearing me, and the amount of encouragement of WE WILL DO THIS TOGETHER! I believe in everything happens for a reason. I was meant to find my way to that office that day.....it was MY new beginning. I had my LIPO a week ago, and it was the BEST choice I've made for MYSELF in a very long time!!! My husband smiles cause I no longer snore, my knees no longer hurt..... I CAN SQUAT AGAIN!!!!!! I have energy, I am mindful of what I'm putting in my body, and I have inspired my daughter to change her own way of thinking. EVERYONE AT THIS OFFICE IS AMAZING!!!!! I know I have a long road ahead of me, but I know I'm on the RIGHT road. I took MY LIFE BACK! I know if I EVER start to feel discouraged I just gotta pick up that phone.....and I am not alone. To know I couldn't look into the mirror without crying, killing myself at the gym, every diet I've ever tried not work, all those struggles........to now I smile even with the bruises, the fact my clothes....I am not afraid to show ME! I will refer EVERYONE that ever asks me about it to SONO BELLO! This was a life changing experience, and I'm not in it alone. I am family...........NOT a patient.

The experience is so easy, I was welcomed from my very first appointment. Sono Bello staff did not push me at all, I decided what I wanted and they supported me all the way. No pressure.
