I was falling apart when I went to Dr. Fischer Peters. I was trying to look good on the outside, but on the inside I was falling apart. I felt like I was losing my mind, everything was piling up and I couldn't cope and was suicidal. Dr. Jill went over and above to help pull me out of my crisis, she even contacted medical facilities to ask for a reduction on my medical bills and saved me 8 thousand dollars. She put me on a medical leave so I could get my head together. Dr. Jill didn't just tell me to do things, she knew I was overwhelmed and helped me do them within sessions. She helped me do things I couldn't do for myself because I was so overwhelmed with life, then when I felt better, she asked me to do what I could for myself. Dr. Jill has an uncanny way of knowing exactly when I was falling and she stepped in and took over, but knew when I was growing stronger and expected me to step up so I didn't get dependent on her. I can't say enough about her as a doctor and as a person. I don't think I would be here today without her care.

Dr. Jill's daughter works at Living Well Psychotherapy with her. To see the two of them working together and have the rapport and relationship they have among them is refreshing! Dr. Jill isn't only great at therapy with me, its obvious she is really a great mother and role model. I can't tell you how nice it is to see a mother and daughter get along so well and laugh and genuinely like the other. I am so appreciative of the support I receive from both of you. On my worst days, the two of you have a way of uplifting me and helping me see the positive and the good in humanity.

Dr. Jill has always been there for the family at our weekly appointments and given us great coping mechanisms and empowered our daughters. The one things that stands out most is when my daughter called her on Christmas Day. I never expected a call back, but we got one, not from her office, not by her answering service but her personally. She is always so good with my children in session, but what impresses me most is her work ethic, even when its not convenient for her personally. Thank you Cigna for this referral, I was very impressed with this doctors bedside manner and character and compassion! Refreshing in this day and age!

We went for couples counseling. Wow! My wife rationalized my behavior, blamed childhood issues and wanted to go right back to the way we were and forgive me. I have so much respect for Dr. Fischer Peters, she looked at my wife and said, "he cheated because he is selfish and he gets away with it." Then she said, " If you make excuses, it will happen repeatedly". SHE WAS RIGHT! Dr. Fischer Peters helped me see my narcissistic personality was not an asset, it was destroying my marraige and making me depressed and have an addicted personality. I couldn't pull anything over on Dr. Jill, like I could every other women. I was a bad man and now I want to be a good man. I want to be able to to develop self worth on have a clean conscience. After therapy, I'm a better man which makes me a good husband. Dr Jill always says being a good husband is simple if you are first I good human being. I had to give up manipulating and rationalizing, it was tough. God Bless Dr. JILL, you taught me lessons my parents never did.

So Refreshing! Finally someone who cares! I have been to many, was treated like I was just a number. Dr. Fischer Peters is an intelligent women, but a good person who works from her soul. Sometimes it's not the intellect that heals someone, some time it's the heart of a person that heals you.

Wonderful for marriage therapy. I have been married for 16 years and she told my husband and I things we never knew about each other. We have had 5 sessions and already, no fights and lots more empathy.

I was fighting addiction for a long, long time and every place I went to seemed like it was just about politics. I couldn't get better. When I went to Dr. Fischer Peters she was so positive and so solution focused and so empowering. She set up social support, helped me get financial and educational avenues started, we worked the 12 steps. Dr. Fischer Peters helped me in every area of my life, she was so helpful. It wasn't easy to fight addiction, but she made it possible. Best Psychologist I ever met!

So THOROUGH I was misdiagnosed for so many years because I saw other psychiatrists who threw me on medications without talking to me or knowing anything about me. Dr. Fischer Peters does a thorough intake, psych testing and reviews psych testing with another doctor and then comes up with a diagnosis and refers for medication after she talks to you about the research and what works best. You see her a little more at first, but it is well worth the time invested if you are serious about getting well. Most people aren't very serious about working on them self, they want a quick fix. Quick Fixes don't work, but she and I worked well together and I am thriving. Thank you for your conscientious efforts and time spent with me Dr. Fischer Peters, life is great now just like you told me it would be... Living Well! Thank you from the bottom of my heart my wife and I are happy.
