I live 12 miles from Walmart. Left my house 45 minutes before appointment. There was an accident on 74 with traffic backed up and I was stressing making my appointment on time, but walked into the eye center at 4 minutes before 5 by their clock. Stood at front desk for at least 10 minutes with no one asking to help. Then my husband and I looked at a few frames, 3 or 4 minutes tops because I found a suitable pair quickly. Went back to the desk and continued to wait. At 5:15 someone finally asked could they help me and I said I have a 5 o'clock appointment of which a gentleman pointed for me to go to the back. There was a lady back there that asked if she could help me and I said I had a 5 o'clock appointment, to which she said the doctor had just left. I told her I had been in the store for 20 minutes and why would he leave without even checking to see if his 5 o'clock was there. There were 2 people out front that sat at the table fitting glasses and helping other people the entire time with no one at the receptionist desk. I got off of work early and wasted gas.. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE!!!!! I will make another appointment elsewhere. I really could not believe this even happened. Ridiculous!
