Paid Dr Pietzsch for custom orthotics ($500) and had continued pain with them. Dr.Pietzsch suggested they be redone at a nominal cost her office then billed my insurance for the full amount of new orthotics. Adjusted orthotics continued to create pain. I then went for a second opinion and the Dr. was mortified at the type of orthotics I had been prescribed, saying no one with the problem I had should EVER have been fitted in that type of rigid,inflexible orthotic. New Dr. prescribed a different type of orthotic (flexible and cushioned) and was very diligent in making sure they fit correctly, were comfortable and my pain was gone. My feet now feel better than they have in years. Tried for over a year to get a $500 "new orthotic charge" that was billed to my insurance by Dr. Pietzsch removed as well as an additional "office visit" that never happened. I constantly got the runaround from Dr. Pietzschs office saying it was their billing company's mistake, billing company saying it was the office mistake. I sent registered letters, delivered insurance billing statements personally to the office, made numerous calls that were never returned and wasted extended periods of time on this. Eventually they removed it and then billed me a $65 charge for the adjustment to the orthotics. I told them I wasn't paying an adjustment fee on top of the $500 I had already paid for orthotics that should have never been prescribed in the first place. Not surprising they turned it over to collection, which I had anticipated, oh well. I disputed it, giving them the facts. I am not going to be intimidated into paying for something a knowledgeable Dr. would never have prescribed and in fact was creating more damage to my feet. Dr Pietzsch is a nice person, however her knowledge of foot care is lacking and the main concern of the office seems to be financial, not patient care. Look elswhere if you have foot or ankle problems, there are some great podiatrists in Georgetown/Cedar Park.

The one thing that I really enjoy about this place is their high level of customer service. The staff is really nice and I have never had to wait for long periods of time. The doctor is very knowledgeable and goes over things with you very thouroughly to make sure that you understand what is going on and why. I have been to other doctors that try to get you in and out and don't really listen to your concerns and this Dr. is not like that, she listens and takes great care to find out what is going on so that you can find the right solution.

Dr Pietzche is wonderful. She has given me shots for my neuroma, performed surgery for a bone chip, and is currently helping me through a broken foot. I trust her completely. Her staff is also great. She is on the conservative side when diagnosing and recommending treatment.
I have recommended her to family and friends. You can feel confortable with the care you will receive at her practice.

No, they are really great about answering the phone right away

Dr. Pietzsch answered all my questions. Her staff is most friendly and professional, and make the office visits pleasant. Amy was super. I was impressed with the progress I was able to make after visiting her. At each visit I was shown into Dr. Pietzsch's office at the scheduled appointment time.

The office was very easy to locate.

All in all, Dr. Pietzsch is a "peach"!
