Pamela Pullin, and the whole staff are complete professionals. I had been treated by several doctors, and clinics prior to coming to St.Marys pain clinic,
With no results. After careful screening and consideration by the nurses and
Doctors, a treatment plan was chosen and after two years my pain level has decreased considerably, and my range of motion is much better.
Thanks to Pamela,Dr.Nelson, and the whole staff.

They've never been late to any of my appointments. I've even showed up early sometimes and they've always been ready and prepared. They do such a great job of never overbooking appointments, even though they are extremely popular. I know for a fact that they have lots of business, but I've never had to wait a long time in a crowded waiting room like other places I've been too. One of the first things I noticed about this business was the level of detail and attention to make the building handicap-accessible. Even the bathrooms were designed to be accessible with doors wide enough to accommodate wheelchairs and grab bars in the stalls. You could tell they really made an effort to accommodate people with all different needs. I've been places before where they were argumentative and angry, so I was nervous that I would encounter that here as well. Instead, they were very calm and understanding the entire time. I could tell they really care about everyone who visits them.

My PCP dr sent me to Tennova after having 5 major surgeries (kidney stone & both knees) and he reached his state max on pain mng services. The front staff was not helpful.
The nurse was very nice. She asked me to get into a gown for an exam. I waited in a curtain area on a gurney. After over an hour, I was rolled into a treatment room. The dr spoke at me while going through my pain medication list. Told me that I had been given way to many medications. He never asked me about my surgeries. He only asked me about my abuse as a child (question on intake form). He did not ask ANY THING else. He dismissed me and I was rolled away. Once I passed my drug screen, I was given a prescription and sent to check out.

Check-out took another 15 minutes making late for another appointment. Really 8:30am to 12pm. I only spoke about my insurance and copay and child abuse. No other words were requested of me.

I am not saying don't go there. I am only telling you what my experience was like.

I was uncomfortable that they were reluctant to seek any sort of outside advice when they didn't have an answer for my question. They definitely favor certain clients, and appear to judge some people based on appearance. I was afraid that they wouldn't help me if they didn't like me. I would never refer any of my family and friends to go here. If I had know how terrible they were I never would have gone. I felt a little pressured to try treatments which I had been told in the past were risky with low chances of benefits, but it wasn't overbearing. Some of the staff is incredibly unprofessional.

I had to wait forever after I arrived for my appointment. They were running really behind and I was disappointed because it threw off the rest of my day. They didn't tell me anything about my treatment options. I left feeling very confused and frustrated. I don't feel like I can count on them to work with me until they find a solution for my situation. They always seem like they're going to give up on me. Would not recommend them at all.
