I have been going to Dr. Battig at Cedarside for about 14 years. No complaints at all! He is a very gentle person with the animals and so sweet! He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Always, always, ALWAYS has a smile on his face. No matter how many dumb questions I ask, he always takes the time to answer them thoroughly! Can't say enough good things about both him and his wife who also works there but I usually only speak with her on the phone. She is also very helpful and friendly whenever I have spoken with her. If I had to think of a complaint, it would only be that their hours are a little limited...I believe they are 9:00 to 10:30 or 11...closed and then re-opens at 3:00 (I think!) til 5:00 Mon-Fri. Then 9-12 on Saturdays. Although, when I had a "minor" emergency once, they did help me when I showed up at the door!! Very compassionate and wonderful people!

Both Drs. are knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. When we first went there with two freaked out young puppies who flattened themselves to the floor and would not budge, they were great. They showed no annoyance whatsoever but instead gently put the animals first, even though this took up way more time than any of us had anticipated.

Another thing that impressed me is that with a female spay, Cedarside insists on and includes in the price an overnight stay so that the animals can be monitored and cared for in the most important first hours post surgery. The price was incredibly reasonable, especially considering the extra night's stay, and was actually better than almost any other place I found.

They take a practical country-vet approach, too. They also have never pressured us or attempted to upsell us on a procedure or medicine.

We're very glad we found Cedarside.

Did this veterinarian seem overwhelmed with too many pets?
Not at all, they are always so organized here with making sure the vet is never too overwhelmed to ensure the best service
