If I could give Atlanta Oxygen 0 stars, I would. I have been a "locked in" customer since 2012, having oxygen supplied by this company and "locked in" because of Medicare contract rules. I can not blame Medicare for the callous approach these people take toward their home customers. Having worked in the health care industry, I know they respond more promptly to clients using their services in volume.
In my last 2 years of this contract , I moved from GA to NC. They have refused to help me find a local provider and insisted I return my in home ,non working concentrator to Atlanta before I received a working one . For the last month I have been trying to get a replacement for my broken portable unit. Despite calling them multiple times a week and explaining I am confined to my home without a portable concentrator, I still have no replacement. I have been told they are awaiting a shipment, then they were waiting for a replacement part and always told it would arrive by the Friday of the weeks I called. That started a month ago and I still am confined to my home with no concentrator.
Save yourself time, grief and possible harm by avoiding this company.

A patient dependent on suction in order to eat needed a replacement suction, this company was contacted by the family first and they were told it would be the next day. I, the nurse called and made sure it was known it was imperative it get to the patient the same day and they agreed and confirmed it would and even gave me an aprrox. ETA. That ETA came and went, still no suction....called the company back and then about an hour later they showed up but without the replacement suction even after they were told multiple times the patient needed a new one. So the delivery driver had to go back to the office to get one which wasted more time. This was so unprofessional, especially for a company who handles oxygen and related equipment. We all need oxygen and it should be something that this company immediately tends to when they are notified. My patient and I had a horrible experience with this company and I WOULD NOT recommend them to anyone!

This is one of the worse companies I have ever dealt with. My mother was assigned this company when she was in the hospital and diagnoses with COPD. She was put on oxygen then and will be for the remainder of her life. They are supposed to supply her tubing so she can use the machines that allow here to keep her oxygen up. EVERY time we have to call to get some tubing it is a week later after several call that we get some. Then it is usually only 2-3 pieces at a time.

Used in 2011 for supplies. on 11/12/12 I rcvd a bill for $700. The mgr did not file ins, but continued to send supplies the entire year. They billed 2011 ins, even tho 2012 ins was provided. Said I was resp. Claimed they were out of network, when in reality, they just did not file the PA (prior autho) 1/1/12. Mgr told me my doc should have done PA. Called my doc, said NO prov would have to do PA. Called mgr again, would not return call. Called billing, billing said call mgr. Left VM for Mgr. Called billing who said mgr was at fault. on 11/27/12 billing said "she'd take care of it." 2/9/13 rcvd bill for $507.78. 4/1/13 billing said mgr did not provide something, they would resubmit to my ins. Billing said they would adjust copay off. 4/12/13 rcvd stmnt showing charge in 2012 paid by ins and co-pay for uncvd chrgs was $435.00. Pd monthly. By 6/3/13 called, verified last pymt of $64.10. 9/4/13 rcvd bill for another $7.98, that they won't write off.
