I'm very surprised with the negative ratings. I switched to this veterinarian based on many recommendations. There are two Vets in the practice; the owner is Dr Dugas who is my fave. The other is Dr Kimball who is very good, but a man of little words. Some people might mistake the lack of small talk as 'not friendly'. Their prices are VERY reasonable, and I have always been more than satisfied with my dog's care. I NEVER had a long wait (10 min max), was ALWAYS greeted with a smile, and never had a problem scheduling or keeping appointments. I find the staff very friendly... People need to keep in mind that Veterinarians are ANIMAL people... they may not be 'customer service' savvy, but if you ask direct questions about your pet's health, they will give you direct answers... and they truly do care about the welfare of your pet. When my dog was diagnosed with intestinal cancer, I found this clinic very helpful with their guidance, recommendations and help with treatment options and cost. They were genuinely sympathetic and supportive with my decisions. Later on, I also received a sympathy card when my pet passed away.

They barely gave me any information at all. I'm going to have to do my own research to get my questions answered. Their staff was not that friendly, and didn't go out of their way to make me feel welcome. They didn't help me as much as I was hoping and didn't answer all my questions.

Oh my god I am so freaking mad! Lisbon vet clinic FORGOT to schedule my 6 month old chihuahua mix puppy's spay appointment tomorrow! Third time they screwed us over! Now she has increased risk of breast cancer and urinary infection and of going into heat and being mmiserable and everything else that goes with that. They didn't even try tomake it right! They didn't even care that she could have complications! She is a real living thing! We even have the reminder card they gave ia TWO MONTHS AGO when we scheduled the appointment! And I worked six days in a row so i could get two off so i could spend time with her recovering! They said it wasn't a real surgery and acted like it wasn't important! NEVER EVER BRING YOUR PET HERE THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PET!!!!!!!

No, if they had music on it was very soothing

Absolutely! They aren't arrogant at all and are more than willing to pursue advice when necessary

No, he/she seemed very calm and not in a rush to see the next pet
Was this veterinarian able to perform all basic as well as complicated procedures?
Yes, I've never had to take my pets anywhere else

They were by far one of the best I've ever seen in their field. It was obvious that they've been exceeding their clients' expectations for many years. I love how much attention to detail they show. They are always so careful and meticulous. I never have to worry about them making a mistake or forgetting something. Not only do they never postpone my appointment, they always try to get me in as soon as possible. I love that I can always get an appointment right away, and I never have to worry about them rescheduling it. I'm sure it's no surprise that my pet hates going to the vet, but what a relief to find an animal hospital that is so dedicated to making your pets experience as pleasant as possible. They never separate you from your pet and I was able to stay within "save me" range the whole time. No taking pets behind closed doors like other places I've been too.
