The office experience is stressful. There is not enough parking for patients. There is no privacy for patients. I was sat down right outside a room where a patient was speaking with the doctor. I overheard everything, and certainly did not want to share any personal information during my visit. I also did not appreciate being drug tested when I have no history of drug use.

I went to see Dr. Sajan today and I really wish I would have listened to the previous reviews she had online because they were almost word-for-word my exact experience. They never got back to me about co-pays or prices even after repeatedly saying they would call me back. When I got there they claimed not to know how much it would be despite having just gotten off the phone with my insurance company. When I signed in the receptionist asked me about my medications in front of everyone waiting in the lobby. The wait time wasn't too long, about 20-30 mins. I thought I was going back to see Dr. Sajan but instead I talked to her assistant Rebecca. She asked me a series of personal questions, just writing notes and not really being personable. She then told me to wait in the room for the Dr. After about 20 minutes of waiting, I was rushed out of the room by the office manager who was out of breath and sweating profusely from running back and forth. He told me the Dr. had an emergency and had to take care of something. I was then rushed into another room. After about 15 mins in that room he hurried me into Dr. Sajan's office where I sat in a chair next to a window with the curtains open where everyone walking around outside could see me. Dr. Sajan walked in and out of the office several times without acknowledging me before she closed the door and sat at her desk. Once at her desk she just glanced at my chart and said, "Well, Rebecca has a plan for you" and then continued to tell me the medications Rebecca had decided I needed (the same exact ones I was already on with no changes even though I suggested I needed a change) Dr. Sajan didn't make any decisions about my care, only that I needed to see a therapist in her office (she went on about how amazing the therapist was and that she wasn't on my insurance but she could give me a low rate) I felt very pressured and agreed to see her despite my hesitations. The talk with Dr. Sajan lasted about 5 minutes. The office manager then rushed me up to the front and started bargaining with me on the price to see the therapist. "We usually charge $75 for a first visit but for you I can do $65." I had to pay upfront even though the appt wasn't for another 4 hours. When I got home it all hit me and I decided not to see the therapist and called to get my money back. He was begging me and lowering the price of the therapist despite me telling him over and over again I didn't want to go. In short, this place is horrible and I feel worse now than I did before I headed in. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor.

I have no problems with the staff. The wait time used to be around 1/2 hour when she was at Mease Dunedin Hospital, but since she moved to SR 580, wait time is NO LESS THAN 90 MINUTES. By the time I finally get in to see her, I'm so p***ed off I just want to justify getting my meds and get the heck out of there. She NEVER offers any apologies for the wait. Staff let it slip that the reason it gets so backed up is because people come in before their apptmt time and are not turned away. Want an appointment? You can have all mine, because I AM LEAVING FOR A DIFFERENT DOCTOR.

I definitely think that I could have gotten much better service somewhere else. I felt like this doctor was accusing me of being a drug seeker. I recently moved to the area and needed a new Psychiatrist for treatment of anxiety, depression and medication maintenance, I left feeling as though I was taking her time and had little opportunity to ask questions about her practice, philosophy of treatment. She took calls during my appointment, which I paid $200 for, and rarely looked at me while asking me questions.
I definitely will not recommend this practice to anyone.
