I just got done getting my hair cut here and I am unbelievably upset. I am a 21-year-old man looking for a good-looking modern style for younger males. The man at the desk escorted me to an old woman who seemed to know nothing about what I was looking for. I don't know anything about haircutting terminology or techniques, and I didn't know the names of the different hairstyles, so I wasn't sure how to describe the style I wanted, and wasn't able to effectively answer the questions she was asking. After the haircut, it looked about the right length for what I was going for, but I wasn't able to tell exactly if it was the style I wanted until I had some time with a mirror and was able to fluff it out and part it how I wanted. So I paid and left, and when I got to a mirror, it was abominably not what I was looking for. I've never seen a guy with a haircut like this. It looks like my 50-year-old mother's haircut. Even with not being able to describe the hairstyle very well, I didn't think she would assume this would be what I wanted. I would expect something better than this for a young man today from a "professional" hairstylist. The hairstylist was little to no help communicating with someone who knows nothing about cutting or styling hair. As a bonus: as I was checking out there was a young girl who had come back to complain about a haircut that she was forced to have fixed somewhere else. I am never going there again and would highly recommend others to be very cautious seeking their services.
