I ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS SALON!
I have had the best experience here, I have tried many salons and this is by far the best one! There is this newer stylest Madison, she is great at color , she did the Brazilian Blowout on me and im in love with it and her. I live a little far away but it is deffanly worth the drive to come see her! I highly advise everyone to atleast try the salon. Its a fantastic atmosphere. love love love

There is a FANTASTIC new stylist/color tech working at Creative Designers. Her name is Lisa Allison. She is sooooo good that I drive from Youngstown, Ohio to have her do my hair. Lisa was working here in Youngstown for a number of years and just recently moved to Akron. After she moved I did not know where to find her so I went to a very up-scale salon in Y-town (Casal's) where they have different levels of techs and stylists to choose from. I chose the highest level, called Master's for both my color and cut - they have specialists in each area so you have 2 people working on your hair if you are having it colored and styled. I paid a fortune for a very disappointing outcome. So, needless to say, I was thrilled to find where Lisa had landed. If you live in Akron, run don't walk to have this gal do your hair. And....if you live in Y-town I still completely recommend you make the trip. It is a very easy and pleasant drive. It only took me appx.90 min. The salon itself is in a lovely area, very attractive, offers a full range of services, very friendly, very economical and it now has Lisa! If your the way your hair is styled and colored is important to you, you can't go wrong here. Even the "Master's" level color tech and stylist had to admit that my "previous" stylist had done a fantastic job with which they could find no fault. They could not believe that only one person had done both my color and cut. Give my girl Lisa a try and I guarantee you will be happy you did.

Second time back to salon was not a good experience. First time went well got a trim and highlights, paid a little to much. Second time came in for a color and a style. Color was ok but hair cut was horrible! When the stylist was done I asked if she could make it more like I wanted (layered toward my face) she replied I will have to give you bangs. At that point I realized she had no idea what I wanted and I was not going to let her cut my hair any further. Paid and tipped the girl and went to my car and started to cry. When I called back later that day to see if I could get my hair fixed I was only offered for that same stylist to fix my hair. It was not going to happen. I asked for a refund for the hair cut and was told there was nothing they could do for me. I tried to explain that I was horrifed and have not worn my hair down since I left. Again was told there was nothing that could be done but to come back in so they could "try to fix it". I will never step foot in that salon again and I would advise you not to either.
