Dr. Caughron has been my doctor for 17 years. I highly recommend him.

I have been going to Dr. Caughron for a few years now and he is one of the best doctors I have seen. He is a little slow to warm up to, but once I had seen him a couple of times I became comfortable with him. He has always responded with constructive criticism and is quick to praise when I've done something right (like get enough exercise and take my medications regularly). He also knows his limitations and encouraged me to go see a psychiatrist because he wanted me to see a physician whose specialty was psychotropic medications. As for the previous negative review that mentioned his use of a laptop: he expressed to me that that's the one thing he doesn't like about the laptop, he feels that he doesn't engage his patients in conversation like he did before the switch from paper to computers. However overall the computers speed and streamline all office procedures so the pros outweigh the cons. He has never been anything but completely professional and friendly to me.

Overall the Charlottesville Wellness Center is a wonderful facility the entire staff is pleasant and friendly. My boyfriend's entire family with few exceptions sees Dr. Caughron and they all just love him as well.

As a patient of Dr. Caughron's for over 15 years, I wish to say that he has been the most caring, professional provider that I have ever had. He is always kind, considerate and a true gentleman when it comes to treating me and my family. He is always ready to help me solve the most complex issues, gives good advise and helps me in my road to wellness all the time. He has a broad range of knowledge in the medical field, never has been inappropriate in his dealings with me or my family and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good family provider. In keeping with the current medical office, electronic medical records is the wave of the future. Dr. Caughron has always tried to keep up with the advancements of todays technology and is trying to establish a client/patient/insurance data base to help improve record keeping and HIPPA compliancy for the future medical needs of todays market. We should applaud him for getting on the road to proficiency in this ever changing world.
If you need a good caring professional, Dr. Caughron should be the one to call.

I and my daughter have been patients of Doctor Caughron and his staff for over ten years. My concerns are ordinary in that I am a healthy 53 yearold mom. However my daughter has many and complicated medical conditions and he has been a very good doctor for our family. Although I may have to wait to see him, he takes the time I need to ensure my daughter is given good care. HE makes appropriate and timely use of specialists. He listens to my input and includes me in the medical team. I have found him to be respectful and professional with both of us. My daughter has cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, immune problems, and juvenile diabetes. I have fired more than one doctor and he is not one of them.
