If only. If only someone would return a simple phone call. If only someone would have the consideration to treat others as they would like to be treated. If only -- then I could plan more trips to see my mom. How SAD is it that NO ONE has any consideration. HOW SAD!!!!!!

They put a patient who was suppose to be in Rehab in the psych dementia unit. They did nt realize the error til the following day. The place loojs horrible. The entire staff was so rude and inconsiderate. I couldn't believe they would be so mean. I had the hardest time finding their building, and I usually have a good sense of direction. The staff used so much foul language around their patients it was so disrespectful. I don't care if they talk that way around their friends but they shouldn't talk to the patients like that. The equipment they were using was downright dangerous. It looked like it was over one hundred years old. Their staff is always answering their cell phones when they're supposed to be helping patients. It's so rude and unprofessional.

I am currently looking for a nursing home for my father who is suffering from dementia. My father is currently in a rehab center, awaiting transfer to a nursing home. The rehab center sent out the proper paperwork called a PRI to a bunch of homes. Unfortunately, Woodmere responded that they would accept my father. I called to schedule a tour yesterday, 8/27/13. I called from my car. I have no GPS in it, I dont have a smart phone. I asked the person from the admitance office that I had the appointment with, how to get there. He sent me in the wrong direction. Before you ask, I can follow directions, HE doesnt know where he works. I finally get there, to see a building that looked like it had been laying at the bottom of the ocean for years. I gave them the benefit of my doubts and walked in for my tour. This poor excuse of a man comes out to take me around. My first impression is that the place is filty. We wait for a long time for the elevator.It finally comes. While we were going up, I asked this idiot about their dementia unit. Just as I ask, the elevator stops, the doors open and out we go. He then tells me this floor isnt the dementia unit. I asked him " Then why the hell are you waisting my time, take me to the floor my father would be on." He tells me that their dementia unit isnt in this building. I asked him didnt you read the paper work the rehab center sent you? I didnt get an answer, all he said was that he didnt know my father needed a dementia unit. At that point, I got really mad. I told him " If you cant read paperwork that clearly states my father needs a dementia unit, how can I trust you with his care?" I got the dumb look again. I said get me out of here. Now, we moved only a few feet from the elevator. He hits the call button, no elevator comes. I say where are the stairs, he points to them, I walk down and out of the nasty , dirty, poorly run facility.

Not at all, its out in the boondocks
